On the evening of Christmas Eve in 2014, an armored security van dispersed the equivalent of two million Hong Kong dollars across one of the city’s busiest highways. A widespread attempt to steal money was made, and the police were only able to retrieve approximately $730,000 of it.People rushed to get their hands on as much of the money as they could after this event, which generated quite a commotion around the city. The situation was completely out of control, and in the end, only a small portion of the stolen money was found.This event is only one illustration of the extraordinary and amazing things that go place on a regular basis in Hong Kong. The city never fails to astonish its inhabitants, and Christmas is not an exception!
