Bruce Lee: From Shyness to Cha-Cha Champ at 18

Bruce Lee was born in San Francisco to Chinese parents in 1940. His family returned to Hong Kong when he was three months old. Bruce grew up in Kowloon and began martial arts training at the age of six.

He learned Wing Chun from legendary coach Yip Man.Bruce Lee was a shy youngster and adolescent. He resolved to practise Cha-Cha to overcome his timidity.

At the age of 18, he entered a Cha-Cha competition in Hong Kong with his brother as his partner.Bruce Lee's Cha-Cha abilities assisted him in overcoming his shyness and becoming more confident. He went on to become one of the world's most recognised martial artists.
