Doctor Strange Shoots 21 Sets at Longcross Studios

The majority of Doctor Strange was shot at the Longcross Studios in Surrey, which is famous for being one of the filming locations. The crew had to construct a total of 21 sets, one of which being a Hong Kong street scene that featured more than 80 neon signs. In addition, a massive roof was constructed in order to keep the rain at bay, which was a significant accomplishment taking into account the size of the set.

The long and illustrious history of Longcross Studios can be traced all the way back to the early 1900s. It was initially constructed as a film studio for the British film industry, but since that time, it has been put to use for a wide variety of film and television productions. The Da Vinci Code, The Omen, and other well-known movies were all filmed at Longcross Studios at some point during their production.
