Emily Hahn: A Wild Adventure

Emily Hahn was born in 1905 in St. Louis, Missouri, in the United States of America. When she was a child, she embraced her inner tomboy and spent a lot of time exploring the woods around her house.

She also had a passion for learning how to drive and was fascinated with automobiles. At the age of 18, she took a car that belonged to a friend and drove all the way to New Mexico. She was caught by the authorities and had to pay a fee, but that did not deter her from continuing her illegal activity.

Hahn did not stop travelling and experiencing new activities throughout his life. She walked over the African plains on foot and rode a camel through the Sahara Desert to get there. In addition, she went to Shanghai and Hong Kong, where she met several well-known personalities from the political world.

In 1911, the beginning of the Chinese revolution took place, and Hahn was present to see it. She then published a book called China to Me in which she discussed her experiences.Hahn was a remarkable woman who embraced every opportunity that life presented her with.

She was brave and didn't allow anything prevent her from going after her dreams of travelling the world.
