Rush Hour 2 Premiered on Flight to Hong Kong

The action comedy film Rush Hour 2 had its world debut on July 3, 2001, on a flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Hong Kong that was called The Rush Hour Express. On August 3, 2001, the movie that starred Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker was made available to watch in theaters across North America.The movie earned more than $347 million at theaters throughout the world in 2001, making it the second highest-grossing film overall, behind only Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

The film Rush Hour was released in 1998, and its sequel, Rush Hour 2, was followed by Rush Hour 3, which was released in 2007.
