I've been living and working in Hong Kong since 2016 as an SEO Professional.

Hong Kong is a Chinese special administrative region. The one country, two systems idea allows Hong Kong to maintain a separate legal, economic, and political system from the rest of China.Hong Kong has been a British colony for more than 150 years before being transferred to China in 1997. Hong Kong residents have traditionally been proud of their city’s distinctive position and heritage.Hong Kong is allowed to preserve its own legal system, currency, and way of life under the one country, two systems premise. This agreement is expected to last until 2047.Hong Kong residents have a significant degree of autonomy, and they have a strong feeling of identity and pride in being Hong Kongese. However, there are several areas of worry. Many Hong Kong residents believe that the growing influence of mainland China threatens their way of life. There are also concerns about the deterioration of civil freedoms and the Chinese government’s expanding control over the media.Despite these reservations, Hong Kong is a vibrant and interesting city with a distinct culture and history that its citizens adore.
