Gyms in Hong Kong

Gyms were closed for a long time due to Covid, but they have now reopened. It’s probable that some of the gyms that I have listed below have closed but the list I created is what I could find open in Hong Kong.

Choosing one of the best Hong Kong gyms is a very subjective process. On the one side, high-end gyms with anti-gravity treadmills and expensive toiletries, whilst there are plenty of more affordable options.

Even the cheapest gyms in Hong Kong have great equipment and expert personal trainers if your bank account isn’t cooperating (is it ever?).

But, rather than deciding on the best workout in Hong Kong, we’ve listed the best gyms for you in our constantly updated list.

Choosing a gym on location is obviously critical. Can you go to the gym at lunch hour or after work? The perfect gym for you is one that is similar to your workplace. A gym close to home is better if you want to work out in the mornings or on weekends.

There is no magic mile radius to reach for when it comes to choosing a gym in Hong Kong, perhaps there is a magic commute time though of course! A five- to eight-minute walk or drive is optimal when travelling to the gym, but bear in mind that considerations such as traffic lights, road noise, and even the time of day you’ll be commuting will all affect the average commute time.
