Jackie Chan: Singer & Voice of Mulan & Beauty & the Beast

In the Hong Kong versions of Mulan and Beauty and the Beast, Jackie Chan voiced/sang for Shang and Beast, respectively. He has also released Cantopop, Mandarin pop, and film score albums. Chan is a prominent actor, director, producer, martial artist, and philanthropist in addition to his singing career.

Chan was born on April 7, 1954, in Hong Kong. In the 1960s and 1970s, he began his career as a child actor, performing in a variety of films and television series. In the 1980s, he rose to notoriety with parts in action films such as The Young Master (1980), Project A (1983), and Police Story (1985).

Chan has acted in more than 150 films and garnered various honours, including an honorary Academy Award in 2008.In addition to acting, Chan has sang in a number of films, including Mulan (1998) and Beauty and the Beast (2017). He has also released Cantopop, Mandarin pop, and film score albums.

Chan is also a renowned director and producer, having directed and produced films such as The Karate Kid (2010) and CZ12 (2012). Chan is a black belt in Hapkido and a martial artist. He has also studied Kung Fu, Taekwondo, and Jeet Kune Do, among other martial disciplines.

Many of Chan's films include his martial arts abilities, including the Police Story series, The Protector (1985), and Armour of God (1986).Chan is also a philanthropist, having founded the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation, which assists the poor and promotes Chinese culture. Since 2004, he has also served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
